HRM Benchmarks
The benchmarks are very important for the HRM Function. The benchmark shows the common market practice and helps to the HRM Function to set its own vision, strategy and goals. The HRM Benchmarks allow the HRM to compare its own performance with the performance of other teams on the market and to get some kind of the feedback on the set up.
The biggest issue for the HRM Function is to get any benchmarks. The companies focused on benchmarking usually benchmark the hard data about the HR Processes and they do not benchmark HRM Practices in the different organizations.
The number of employees per the HRM Employee can be easily found, but the common practices in the recruitment or compensation and benefits are hard to find. When there is any, it is marked as a best practice immediately.
So, let us benchmark against each other by filling simple questionnaires and publish the results to know more about the common practices in our organizations.
