Ageing Population: Is your organization ready to hire older employees?

The population in Europe is getting older quickly. In the following years the job market will be full of older employees, which are not attractive today, but the supply of the new and young graduates will be small. The companies used to hire the university graduates and provide them with a lot of training to learn them to make the job. But no training focused on the older population inside the organization.

The organization will have to adjust their HR Strategy. The strategy was working for some 20 - 30 years, but it has to be abandoned. The ageing population will need a completely different approach from the HRM Function. But did you see any HRM Function starting to think about that?
