The whole recruitment industry will have to change. The business model worked for several years as the companies invested into every possible recruitment source. The HR Recruiters did not count the return of investment as the recruitment source delivers some good candidates.
The job market changed quickly from the demand mode to the supply mode. The HR Recruiters can choose the best job candidate again. The people send the job resumes on their own and they actively search for the vacancies at the corporate websites.
The recruitment industry will have to change. The companies can start to be choosey about the recruitment services they will use. The companies with a low value added will be abandoned.
The new business model will be defined, as the recruitment websites need to meet two conditions:
- High volume of untargeted visitors looking for a new job for a huge job website
- Specifically targeted audience finding right job offers for a small job website
Currently, there are many players on the market and the job candidates can choose from many websites. The companies search for the value added service and they can be lost in the number of job websites and they will wait for the winner to join.
The companies want their tailored service, but currently, they can be flooded by many job resumes and the players on the market cannot offer the right solution cheaply. The big job board will deliver computer-selected job resumes, which has no value added and the small players cannot find enough job candidates as they are rising stars of the future. The huge job websites do not have the value added at the moment as the corporate website brings enough job candidates.
The huge players have a lot job resumes and the small players cannot offer quality job candidates, as the people do not tend to change the job right now. And this will last for several following months at least.
