Management Communication in Recession

The management plays a very important role in the organization during the recession. The management is the first body in the organization to recognize the real situation and to make a connected network of the numbers from all the parts of the company.

The management has to inform the employees in the organization about the reality in the world and the forecast for the upcoming months. It is a serious issue as the employees can feel the real situation and they need to be provided with some explanation.

The management makes a mistake, when the decision is not to communicate the real situation of the organization. When the management is silent, the rumors are ruling the organization and the performance of the employees suffers.

The management has to play its role of managing the organization, including the emotions among employees. When their managers do not inform the employees, the employees will believe to every piece of the rumor, they can hear.

The managers are worried to announce bad messages to their employees, but it is a part of their job. The polite management does not work; the employees trust just the honest management. The managers have to understand, the bad message can make smaller damage than no message at all.
