War for Talents as Virtual Reality

The war for talents is a nice HR Buzzword, the war for talents should represent … the reality on the job market. The war for Talents was created by big multinational companies, which used to live comfortably on the job market.

The big multinational companies were used to hire the best young graduates on the job market and they offered to them „excellent career opportunities“. The big companies were used to live comfortably on the market and the career opportunity was their major advantage.

The behavior of the young generation changed. The graduates were not looking for the long-term career opportunity; they were looking for the challenges in their work. The big multinational companies cannot offer the challenges as they see the bill for the taxi as the challenge.

The small companies offered something different – dangerous and advantageous career for people, who does not want to spend the whole life in one small office meeting the same people every day.

The small companies were more flexible to offer the things people wanted. They offered something sexier in the career path. The big multinationals felt the competition and the war for talents was born. It is simple and the big companies are still not able to compete directly.
