The HR Strategy is the base for the HR Processes and HR Goals to be reached. The HR Strategy should be a formalized document and the HR Management Team should be unified around the document as all the employees of the HRM Function can follow the same ideas in their mind.
The check of the HR Strategy has to be made on the regular basis as the HR Management Team has to be sure; they understand the words in the HR Strategy the same way.
This can look pretty simple, but the strategy is interpreted by HR Managers and the interpretation can be different among the HR Employees. When they have to reach the agreement about the new HR Process or the HR Policy, they cannot understand each other. The work is not smooth, as they have no common idea in their mind. They think they have the same ideas, but they understand the idea differently.
The HR Management Team has to stop from time to time and to provide the rest of the management team about their interpretation of the HR Strategy as it can help to the common understanding of the HR Strategy.
The HR Management Team needs to have a regular HR Strategy check to find out they understand the HR Strategy the same way and they follow the same goals defined from the strategy.
